Ovation’s Mod TX 4-String Bass features a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing for superior note definition. Its classic mid depth, cutaway, composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone, and is comfortable to hold and play. Multi port soundholes on the bass-string side of the instrument enhance lower-frequency projection. This bass also features a satin-finished maple neck and a black-stained rosewood fretboard. A full 34” scale delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instrument’s entire range.
