Warwick and Jack Bruce join their forces once more to bring the ultimate bass guitar for Jack. In his long and successful career, Bruce played in many bands and contributed to the history of rock music more than it can be measured. JB3 starts off as a solid bodied, double cutaway bass with a mahogany body. Body shape is very reminiscent of Gibson`s SG Bass. The edges are beveled, but there are no bindings or pickguards featured on this model. Burgundy red stain high polish and nirvana black stain high polish are available color options. In the bridge section, there is a well known Warwick two-piece with top-load construction and chrome plating. Pickups for this bass are supplied by MEC, and they are passive humbuckers, both in the bridge and neck positions. Along with these pickups comes MEC active two-way electronics setup. The neck on JB3 is made of mahogany with neck-through-body construction. Tigerstripe ebony fingerboard features 24 frets with Just-A-Nut III brass string nut and no position inlays. 34" scale, Warwick tuners and chrome hardware complete the list of specs for JB3.
